Farmington, CT (December 1, 2016) – Envolve PeopleCareTM (EPC) was named the winner of the prestigious Gold Stevie Award in Communications or PR Campaign of The Year – International Communications category Friday, November 18th in New York City.
In its 13th year, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business selected EPC’s submission for the Gold Stevie Award from over 1,400 entries from various organizations spanning across 30 different nations. After passing the finalist stage, the submission was chosen by nearly 160 worldwide professionals who participated in the judging process. Scores are averaged and categorized into Gold, Silver and Bronze placements.
Translating to the Greek word “crowned,” the Stevies awards are among the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. EPC’s submission covered its internal brand launch, which took place August 2015 after several healthcare companies merged together as one brand and one company.
In order for this merger to be deemed a success externally, it was important that it be received positively internally. Involving thousands of multi-shift employees across 60 nationwide-locations and thousands of telecommuters within the separate organizations proved to be a challenge, but the campaign’s goal was to harvest employee participation and enthusiasm during the rebrand. Multiple activities took place to create company pride and engagement, solidifying the message that we are all “Better Together.”
The considerable communications strategy involved a week-long celebration, complete with logo giveaways, employee touch-points from direct and senior management, quizzes and interactive activities to encourage connections between employees from different legacy companies and ongoing communication.
